Wow.. So, it's been a long while. There's reasons for that, but I don't think I'll get too in depth with them just yet, at least. Looking at some of the pictures on the site, I have to do some serious updating.

So what's been keeping me busy in the SCA lately? Hmmm... My service as Rhuddglyns champion is done and over, I managed to find a sucessor there. Still working on my Myrganwood champion. That I give up in March. Bweee! Another tournie to run. Should be interesting. I've been asked to be on the next Queen of An Tir's rapier guard. That's TOTALLY AWSOME! So even more travelling, and much further away. My circle of comfort is definately expanding. hehe. Beyond that, the holiday season is very slow for events. So I'm actually suffering from fits of boredom right now. I've gotten way too used to galavanting across the country side, and always being busy.

In the next few days.. Wednesday or thursday, I'll start uploading photos of the tattoo that I'll be getting (on monday). It's got me all geared up, and more than a little nervous as well. It's been awhile since my last tattoo. So I'm really hoping that I don't cry like a baby and / or pass out. hehe. Nah, should be good. Though I still might be crying.
The tattoo that I'm getting is a rendition of the Cornflower (aka bacholars Button).. It's the symbol / flower of the ALS Society here in Alberta... I'm getting it in memory of my mom, who passed away two years ago because of ALS, or Lou Gherig's Disease. The tattoo is going to mean quite a lot to me.. It's a time of change for me, but I'll always have a mark of Mom with me. Should be cool.
And now, the dare to my sisters... I'm finally bucking-up and getting it. We all had a deal, so I want to see pitcures of tattoos, on you, and soon!
